How am I suppose to get this achievement, comrades in arms, when there is no champions? I have looked all over the area they say and even the suggestion on wiki and there is no champions in the area. What am I missing. Or am I destined to never get it because I play when the maps are not packed to cause champions?
You will find Champion at east side from Bastion of the Celestial (look at link down here in end of post - you can also see picture from compass where you can expect this event "Defeat the corrupted creature" will take place).
From link you will have some instruction on where to find it and time limit.
Make sure to have a group doing this as when this creature spawn (had a Champion Karka [might have been Champion Sky-Chak Blitzer which have the ability to reflect projectiles] which I had trouble to kill myself (solo) as it went into different phases, there are also several other Kryptis around at same place which might become an issue during this fight with their own conditions and CC where you can get overwhelmed over time by poison and other conditions at the same time as Champions doing its mechanic which might be different depending on which Creature that spawn; next I had a Champion Skyscale and I had luck here where other players that came to kill it and from wiki it looks to have more easier phases for its mechanic (still burn damage tick enough damage and then it do some different type of CC, so it is still a challenge to get HP down in time if you are solo.)
These creatures have a phase where you need to use the special action key to cleans corruption, when you havea finished that channel to cleanse then look where it is a red line from Champion to Kryptis that will spawn and fast kill that Kryptis that have corrupted that creature as it will move towards Champion and heal it when it reaches it, then continue to kill that Champion.
If you or your group don't kill that Kryptis in time it will heal Champion for some bit and you might have issues with time limit which is 8 min from the time it spawn and before it will disappear.

That achievement for Comrades in Arms will be done when you have killed one of six possible Champions during that event.
