In Lifetime's "Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up," Gypsy Rose Blanchard confirmed the real reason she did not attend the Kansas City Chiefs game.

After being released, Gypsy Rose Blanchard hoped to meet her idol, Taylor Swift, and attend the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cincinnati Bengals game, but those plans were squashed when she was ordered to leave the state of Missouri immediately.

In the first episode of the docuseries aired on Lifetime on Monday, one of Gypsy's parole officers called the couple 10 hours after her release from prison.

During the phone call between Gypsy Rose Blanchard and the officer, he asked about their plans to travel to the game. "Gypsy, where are you going right now? Are you headed to Louisiana right now? We got a notification that you’re going to a Chiefs game this weekend," the officer, whose name was not revealed, asked the ex-convict as she was on her way to her family's house in Missouri.

That is when the officer told the 32-year-old that she needed to leave the state immediately and go to her new home in Louisiana.

Gypsy told the officer on the phone that her other parole officer "pre-okayed" the trip to the Chiefs game. The parole officer then said he would check in with her other parole officer and get back to her.

In the meantime, Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ryan Anderson made their way to Gypsy's family home, but as they pulled into the garage, the unidentified parole officer called again.

"I just spoke to the officers there and the institution, and they stated no, you do not have permission to go to a Kansas City Chiefs game this weekend," he told Gypsy. "You have to go directly from Missouri to Louisiana. I’m giving you a directive right now. You cannot make any stops in Kansas City. Go directly to Louisiana."

After her lawyer contacted someone at the prison, they informed her they would not hold her "in violation for not coming straight" to Louisiana, but she must keep a low profile.

Moments later, the officer called to confirm if Gypsy Rose Blanchard knew her orders, which she said she did. However, it seemed there was confusion again as the officer told her she should be on the road as they spoke, but she was sitting in her dad's living room.

After much back and forth, Gypsy left the room abruptly in tears, declaring she didn't want to go back to prison.

"What if they’re going to send me back?" she asks her stepmom, Kristy. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, and viewers must wait until next Monday to see how everything plays out.

This episode comes just hours after news broke that Gypsy Rose Blanchard filed a lawsuit against April Johns (AKA Franchesca Macelli), whom she met shortly after she arrived at Chillicothe Correctional.

Gypsy Rose, her father Rod Blanchard, and stepmother Kristy Blanchard were allegedly contacted by “Franchesca Macelli," whose real name is April Johns, about hiring her production company “Mad Ginger Entertainment” inquiring about a possible media project on Gypsy’s behalf.

However, in 2019, The Blanchard Family was "not able to secure any media projects or produce any marketable content." Ms. Johns allegedly became confrontational over Gypsy’s relationship with her fiancé Ken Urker, and so they cut ties.

"Over the next three and half years, Franchesca/April continued to create content about Gypsy’s case," the suit stated. "These came in the form of posts, comments, videos, podcasts, interviews, etc. on numerous social media and streaming platforms."

According to the complaint obtained by The Blast, the 32-year-old sued April Johns for fraud, breach of contract, unjust enrichment, false light, and defamation.
