Definition. Early Warning Indicators for Credit Risk (EWI) are any Early Warning Indicators that are used specifically for the anticipation of Credit Risk events. EWI's can be quantitative or qualitative indicators, based on asset quality, capital, liquidity, profitability, market and macroeconomic metrics.
Early warning indicators (EWIs) of banking crises are typically based on the notion that crises take root in disruptive financial cycles. The basic intuition is that outsize financial booms can generate the conditions for future banking distress.
This study is aimed at developing early warning indicators (EWI) for banking liquidity risk.

What are EWI systems? These are systems applied to the exterior walls of existing or new buildings, comprising of an insulant and a protective render finish. The insulation type can vary from expanded polystyrene insulation (EPS), extruded polystyrene insulation (XPS), phenolic insulation or mineral wool insulation.

What are the risks of EWI?

For others, common physical factors/ variables contribute to many of the problems, particularly moisture, ventilation and thermal bridgingb. These issues are often linked, for example the presence of moisture is often exacerbated by inadequate ventilation.
EWI must not project more than 16cm from the external wall of your property. EWI which projects greater than 16cm will require planning permission. If you live in a Conservation Area, a National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or World Heritage Sites, you will also need to apply for planning permission.

Income and Expenditure (I&E)
The same rules are used for Income and Expediture accounts as for P & L but different terms: instead of Net Profit we have Surplus of income over expenditure and instead of Net Loss we have Excess of expenditure over income.
Some EWI systems give a better U-value than others due to the materials used and the thickness of the insulation boards. However most EWI systems will give a U-value improvement of around -2 to -2.5, improving the thermal performance of your walls considerably.
Perhaps the most popular finish, one coat thin coat renders include silicone, silicate, acrylic, mineral renders which are generally applied to the thickness of the grain. Usually this means the thickness will be anything between about 0.6 and 3mm with the most popular by far being 1.5mm.
Most quality EPS EWI systems have, at very least, a classification of B-s3, d2 and are therefore classed as fire retardant. This means they have been manufactured to achieve a very low combustion level which has been approved by an accredited fire classifications expert and deemed safe and fit for purpose.
The three main liquidity ratios are the current ratio, quick ratio, and cash ratio. When analyzing a company, investors and creditors want to see a company with liquidity ratios above 1.0. A company with healthy liquidity ratios is more likely to be approved for credit.
A solvency ratio examines a firm's ability to meet its long-term debts and obligations. The main solvency ratios include the debt-to-assets ratio, the interest coverage ratio, the equity ratio, and the debt-to-equity (D/E) ratio.
